U.S. FTC sues to block Nvidia Corp.’s $80 billion planned deal to buy Arm. The FTC said the planned merger would stifle the innovation pipeline for next-generation technologies.
Nvidia's shares closed up 2.2% at $321.26 on Thursday while company faces a $1.25 billion breakup fee if the deal is blocked. While Arm's revenue has risen 56.3% in the six months, it is unclear whether Arm would bring in anything close to the $80 billion offered by Nvidia.(More)

JP Morgan leads the Q3 earnings season this morning. JPM and other banks may see a substantial boost as a result of the supply chain problems worldwide.
Many companies need carryover funds during the chip shortage and other supply chain issues. Banks like JP Morgan will 'step up' to provide cash and ultimately earn fees.(More)
