Tesla Inc. has delayed the start of manufacturing of its futuristic-looking Cybertruck until the first quarter of 2023. Stock price has dropped over 2% in premarket.

GM's Silverado and Ford Motor Co.'s electric F-150 Lightning pickup trucks, both of which are scheduled to go on sale in the spring, will face fierce competition if and when the Cybertruck does make it to market.
